Some Useful Tips
Listing status - The default is 'Accepting guests'. If you do not want your listing to show in Search change to 'On hold' and your listing will be invisible and you will not receive enquiries.
Property name* - Give your property a name that it will be identified by (please do NOT enter a description like 'Beautiful 2BR home by the sea' but instead a proper name such as 'The Seaside Holiday House')
Website or Listing Link - If you have a website or listing on a website, enter the address here. Learn more
'I don't have a website, because this is a NON-commercial property' - Tick this box if you do NOT list your property on any websites at all because it is your second/holiday home that you do not commercially rent.
Availability calendar url - If you have an availability calendar, enter the link here. Learn more
Location* - Enter the full address of your property. Drag the pointer to refine location.
Images - Upload at least one image. Your listing will NOT show in search unless you upload at least one image. For the best result, upload JPEG, GIF or PNG format images sized 660x440 pixels - larger images will be cropped automatically.
Brief description* - Share 2-3 key sentences that summarise your property. Be brief, remembering that members can click through to your website or listing to read detailed information.
Incidentals fee - Some members choose to charge a small fee per stay to recover fixed costs such as cleaning or linen. This is strictly monitored by SwapNights and abuse of this facility to charge a defacto room rate will result in cancellation of listing. Payment method of the incidentals fee must be agreed between owner and guest after booking has been made.
Incidental fee reasons - Details what the fee is for. Defaults include 'Cleaning (per stay)' and 'Linen Fee (per person/stay)' and you can also add your own custom 'Custom reason' to describe what your Incidentals Fee is for.
Property style - Details the style of your property.
Suitable for - Details the type of guest your property is suitable for. If more than one type applies, select 'Various'.
Number accommodated - Details the maximum number you wish to indicate your property can accommodate.
